Singapore Young Single Adults Choose to Serve

YSA work together in Telok Blangah Rise

The Singapore Stake Young Single Adults meet every three months for a Stake Young Single Adutls (YSA) service project. On March 29th  they went  to Telok Blangah Rise to help four families.

The first house was a two room flat, where a woman in her 80's lives with her daughter. They helped organize the living room and cleaned in the kitchen and the bedroom, particularly in places that are hard to reach by the elderly.  In the second home the woman living in the flat only spoke Hokkian.  After finding someone to help with translation they were able to work on some worthwhile projects.  Another group helped a young Malay family with some needed assistance, while the fourth group helped fold clothes for the elderly.

The Young Single Adults were grateful for the opportunity to help others and felt a sense of freshness and happiness at the end of the day. The spirit is also with us when we do good things for others.
